Description

The SAIDA Bracelet is inspired by the culture of Uzbekistan, old Tashkent houses, traditional ikat fabrics, and the atmosphere of 20th-century Art Deco jewelry. Cool silver metal and turquoise tones evoke the jewelry and objects that have accompanied Central Asian culture for centuries — silver, silk, stone, and handcraftsmanship passed down through generations. In SAIDA, we combined traditional Uzbek motifs with the graphic, architectural quality of Cartier's Art Deco–era jewelry, when the East became a major source of inspiration for the world's great jewelry houses. The bracelet looks like a rare object with a history of its own — a piece that could have been kept in a silk box among fabrics, jewels, and treasures brought back from journeys.
